The agressively ignorant supporters of ObamaCare
This Twitter argument started just before 8 PM.
I'm the Tribble, obviously.
Everyone has a right to #healthcare? Sez who? http//is.gd/4sHz4 #hc09 #tlot #p2 #publicoption
"Everyone has a right to #healthcare? Sez who?" --> wow. just wow. apparently you've never been sick and denied, eh?
Answer the question. #healthcare
adequate and accessible #healthcare is a simple humanitarian concept, like food and other types of charity.
But is it someting we have a *right* to? #healthcare
i think that all people deserve the right to adequate food, water, #healthcare, shelter, and education.
what good is a society that turns its back on the underprivileged or unhealthy? #healthcare
Where does this *right* come from, pray tell? #healthcare
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal....(#healthcare)
that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights....(#healthcare)
that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. (#healthcare)
That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men....(#healthcare)
deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed (#healthcare)
Be more specific, please. #healthcare
i believe that the constitution gives the right to #healthcare to all american citizens.
Where? #healthcare
the part i sent....
You quoted the Declaration of Independence.
yeah...........ur point?
U said the Constitution gives us a right to health care, but u quoted the Declaration.
Quote the text from the Constitution that enumerates an individual right to health care.
show me where it doesn't. show me where the constitution says to deny #healthcare, food, shelter, education, etc.
I'm not the one claiming it's in there somewhere. U are. Seems reasonable to ask u where.
Wanting something doesn't entitle you to it, esp. if u demand your neighbor pay for it.
i'm not demanding anyone pay for it. i work full time, but can't get a #healthcare plan on my own, despite having the funds for it
The constitution enumerates indiv rights that gov't can't infringe on. Where's it say u get #healthcare w/my money?
with fair access to #healthcare w/no strings attached, i would have a plan that i would be paying for.
i don't want #healthcare w/ur money - i don't want nething to do w/u. i want the ability to have #healthcare. i can pay my own way.
i might use a #publicoption for #healthcare if i had access to one, but then my own taxes would be paying for it.
the issue is that i can't get a #healthcare plan on my own due to pre-existing conditions.
U said u have a *right* to #healthcare. Maybe I misunderstood. What r u demanding?
i have a right to access to #healthcare regardless of whether a company or the govt provides it.
What exactly r u demanding?
this country is aching for #healthcare reform that lets everyone get #healthcare
access to #healthcare. not just an emergency room. real #healthcare.
why don't u want everyone to have fair access to #healthcare?
Help me understand. What does a "right to access" result in? it sounds like gov't mandate.
what are u afraid of? u already pay for us to go to the e.r. to get #healthcare when we get sick.
u insure ur car....why wouldn't u want #healthcare insurance for urself?
What does this "right to access" result in? it sounds like gov't-mandated #healthcare
#healthcare reform allows for the removal of discrimination. a #publicoption is not a mandation.
I'm trying to understand what u mean by "a right to #healthcare"
U argue that u have a "right" to #healthcare, which is a finite resource. What does that entitle u to?
every person has the right to equal access of preventative, mental, emergency, vision, and dental #healthcare
Paid for by whom?
everyone. just like now.
You're making a claim on a resource. How're u gonna pay for it?
are u opposed to #medicare in addition to #healthcare for everyone?
Focus, please. How're u planning to pay for your "access to #healthcare" ... your supposed "right"?
we're one of the wealthiest nations on the planet, i'm sure we can find the funding for #healthcare somewhere.
Who's this "we"? I don't want to pay your doctor bills.
i think its a fair trade to decrease our infant mortality rate http//bit.ly/wXg2B #healthcare
R u saying your right to #healthcare includes tax dollars?
u pay for my e.r. visits.
I know, and when I read the Constitution I don't see u having any right to my wallet for your e.r. bills.
well, the next time i go to the e.r., whether it's for the flu or my husband's blood sugar, i'll think of u. ciao!
What right do u have to use my money for your bills?
U can't point to any "right to health care" can u? U just want it now, damn my rights.
One major problem with libs like [you] is that [you're] incapable of answering a simple question.
i answered ur question. u just don't like the answer. now seriously, goodbye.

What a marvelous way to argue the point--just focus on the issue.
"Health care now" is a slogan.
"Your health care now with my money" is a much more accurate slogan.
The second one seems wordy--for a slogan.
Let's shorten it a bit.
How about "F**k you".
Which is the argument most seen on blogs that point out the many drawbacks of Obama Care.

The problem with healthcare reform is that we are not REFORMING anything...we are just adding more tax money to a program that has proven to fail. People see the world "FREE" and assume it's not going to cost them anything in the long run, and maybe it won't if they continue to live off of others. We cannot keep taxing the rich to pay for the poor. Some of these people actually worked and earned their money and I can understand how they feel about being punished for being resourceful. In NY, the rich are fleeing by the thousands to avoid increased taxation to cover things like REFORMED healthcare. In the process, they are taking their businesses with them and more and more people are losing their jobs. How is that helping? Yes, equality is a great thing, but I don't believe I have a right to anyone else's money to pay my way...but that's just me. There are many who wouldn't mind dipping into someone else's hard-earned cash to skate by. And if this person who argued about healthcare insists they can afford it...then BUY it! You don't have to rely on your employer, but there again is that mentality...gimme, gimme, gimme, without any thought for the longtime consequences.
