USA Today's Jill Lawrence misrepresented Fred Thompson's answer to a question about the extent of his desire to be president. Fred responded in person on the RedState blog, and included a transcript of what he actually said.
This isn't the first time a reporter has twisted Thompson's words.
My only question: Does he play golf? I remember reading a study that examined how often a president was on the links to how well the USA was doing both domestically and internationally (economics, etc). The more a president plays golf, the better off the USA is... President Bush ought to spend less time clearing brush from his range outside Crawford and more time hitting the links.
