I must respectfully disagree with your assessment of this situation.
I watched Mrs. Bush being interviewed on Fox News Sunday. She explained that the head scarf, which was decorated with pink ribbons, was a gift from other participants at the breast cancer awareness conference. If Mrs. Bush had been given a similar gift in any other country no one would have blinked. Abayas, headscarfs, etc. don't cause or further Islamic fascism or terrorism. They are just pieces of cloth. It's the spirit in which it is given or worn that matters. Mrs. Bush was there to help these women who die in much greater percentages than breast cancer victims in Western countries. They presented her with a gift. She graciously accepted it.
