Bill Pierce is absent from the latest FEC Financial Summary Reports for the U.S. Senate race in Ohio. What's up with that?

Just talked to Bill. The required postmark was really the 17th, and because of anthrax and other things it's possible the FEC doesn't even have the reports in their hands. Bill said he would look into it.

Pierce and Smith are BOTH not in there. Pierce filed manually, not electronically; I assume Smith did too.
Just called FEC. They verified that the reports aren't posted. I was told the reports had to be postmarked by April 15. After they're received, they have to be entered. The FEC woman said she didn't show having received either report yet. I'm skeptical; I think they have them but haven't entered them.
