Being a guy of Nordic roots (Norwegian, Swede, Lapp) and having grown up in Northeastern Montana my thoughts might be similar to the above but they're not.
Those guys in Ranger School and those guys in the SF qual course (and Robin Sage) are out in the middle of that and are very tired and very hungry by this point.
I've been cold many, many times but Ranger School class 2-77 where we lost a couple of guys to hypothermia in the Florida phase would have to rate right up there.
Just something to consider...
