Kerry’s magic hat story is fraying

John Kerry’s “magic hat” story is bubbling to the surface (see this fawning article by the Washington Post for an example of how it used to be covered). Scott Canon of Knight-Ridder mentions the hat in a piece that questions Kerry’s truthfulness … after all, his campaign has admitted that Kerry’s famous and often-told story about “Christmas in Cambodia” is a fabrication that even the liberal media can’t ignore. Heck, even one of his “band of brothers” appears to have never served with Kerry (by the Democrat definition, anyway).
Hugh Hewitt won’t let it drop (and has compiled a remarkably well-researched look at the rapid disintegration of Kerry’s lies). Nor will Captain’s Quarters or Instapundit. Go get him, fellas.
