Bush nominates new Director of Central Intelligence

President Bush has nominated a new CIA chief: Congressman Porter Goss, a former military intelligence officer and CIA covert agent. I’m encouraged. If Goss survives the confirmation feeding frenzy, watch for a sharp improvement in human intelligence.
Any bets on whether John Kerry attends the nomination hearings?
