I'm sorry but was there any need for this board or is it just another way of putting islam in a 'bad light'

This is my site, and I comment on what I think is interesting while giving my unvarnished opinion. My opinion of Islam is very, very unfavorable ... and I have lots of good reasons for that.

We should never turn a blind eye to the truth whether we like it or not. And thats what you guys are doing. Please do some searching rather than posting in things which are based on opinions and not sources.

What kinds of sources do you accept as valid?

puddle, I suppose they are going to say that you made up those last statements. "Truth" and her cronies, constantly talk about facts but offer only speculation, while many of us offer specifics. Did truth think that we are the ones putting islam in "a bad light"????? It is not us. It is the belief system that says, as you put it,
"Seize them and put them to death wherever you find them, kill them wherever you find them, seek out the enemies of Islam relentlessly. (Sura 4:90)"

Somehow, this doesn't sound like the religion of peace that "truth" is wanting to us believe it is.

And, to Zeinab Were you raped and tortured by American soldiers?? I highly doubt it. I was an American Soldier. A former Marine. We did not rape women. Matter of fact, I remember many women coming to me, from hunger and wanting help for their children. I, as well many of my fellow Marines, would offer them part of our very own MRE's "Meal ready to eat" because that is all we had. The middle eastern newspapers throw out a lot of disinformation to make American's seem like an evil corrupt nation. I am sorry, but it is just not that way. There may be a bad apple here and there, but we will deal with those.
